Resident Spotlight

Richard has a love for the simple joys in life, especially a scoop of Blue Moon ice cream. If there's country or western music playing, you can count on finding him out on the dance floor. If he could have any superpower, Richard says he would choose to be young again. Of all four seasons, summer is his favorite because he enjoys soaking up the sunshine. One of his fondest childhood memories is dreaming of becoming a cowboy-and even trying to get a tattoo with a fake ID! If Richard could offer one piece of advice, it would be, "Life is short-be a cowboy." Richard's family includes Nada, Jim, and Jane, who are very special to him. What he enjoys most about Tender Hearts is how kind everyone is and, of course, getting ice cream. His fun-loving spirit and appreciation for life's little pleasures make him a valued part of our Tender Hearts family.

Employee Spotlight

Sierra has been with the company for a little over a year. She is a proud mom to one son and is excited to welcome another son soon. In her free time, she enjoys doing arts and crafts with her son, spending time outdoors, reading fantasy books, cooking, and shopping-especially at TJ Maxx. In 10 years, Sierra hopes to go back to school to earn her RN degree and become a hospice nurse. Her favorite part of the job is the positive interactions she has with residents, families, and coworkers.  She finds helping others very rewarding. One thing people may not know about Sierra is that she sold prefab homes after high school and was a stay-at-home mom for two years.
